Samantha Couture is a highly accomplished Makeup Artist and Hairstylist, known for her exceptional skills in a variety of domains.
She received her first Emmy Nomination at the Children’s and Family Emmys in 2022 for her work in Special Effects Makeup as the Key Makeup Artist for the PBS show “Odd Squad.” In 2023, she garnered her second Emmy nomination for her makeup work on the same show.
Samantha’s expertise spans multiple areas including Editorial, Commercial, Fashion, TV, Film, Magazine and Bridal Makeup.
Her artistic repertoire includes Special Effects (SFX) Makeup, Out-of-kit Effects, Airbrushing and Body/Face Painting. Bringing together her diverse array of talents enables her to craft intricate and versatile looks suited for a broad spectrum of projects.

Her dedication and perseverance have also taken her across borders, with opportunities to showcase her talent and hard work in the U.S. and Mexico.
Samantha has volunteered her time for Canadian Cancer Society, Look Good Feel Better, Just for Styles, Scrubs in the City and The Lady Ball.
Her passion for makeup ignited at the age of 10 when she delved into face painting, which led into selling her artwork at local businesses.
With a rich, creative background and a deep-rooted love for painting, transitioning into the world of Makeup Artistry and Hairstyling was a natural progression.
Samantha proudly earned her degree from George Brown College in Toronto. She has since returned as a Makeup Teacher, sharing her expertise and passion with aspiring artists.
